My experience:
If you don’t believe in effectiveness of the lip patches, this review is for you. I am as skeptical about the lip patches as about the eye patches. So far after plenty of trial and error I’ve discovered one brand that delivers the actual results in both patch fields. The PATCHNESS Lip Patch is looking like any other lip patches these days. It is made of hydrogel and is approximately 2mm thick. It is dark pink in color and looks a bit silly when applied.
What makes these extra special is the size and the cut of the patch. There is a cutout in the middle so you can still speak and drink (through the straw) when the patch is applied. Once you put it on it tends to escape for the first 2 minutes but once it is adhered it starts working it’s magic. You can apply it any way you like, it will cover the entire lip area and cover the outer edges no matter what. After 5 minutes I feel slight tingling sensation that proceeds till the point when I remove it. Total wearing time for me is 20-25 minutes and after the patch is off the results are amazing.
I gravitate towards these patches on the nights when I forget to use my lip balm before I bike to work. My lips are always chapped and dry if this happens. After removing the patch, my lips are soft and hydrated and I can see that there are nearly no vertical lines (lip wrinkles?) left. They also plump my lips a lot. I used to have a favorite plumping gloss from DIOR for that purpose. And now it is replaced.
These patches are so good at bringing in the moisture to my lips that they became my ultimate priming product for the times when I want to wear a matte lipstick. A. lot of lipsticks dry my lips out but thanks to the PATCHNESS it is in the past. My lips remain hydrated and smooth even under drying lip products which was a wow factor for me after I’ve used them foe the first time. Totally in love with these and. would recommend them to anyone who wants to rock a perfect crackle-free matte lip!
