My experience:
THANK YOU FARMER Back to Iceland Cleansing Foam is quite gentle cleanser that doesn't strip my skin. It's main ingredient is an extract of islandic moss which is well known for it's moisture retention abilities. It is the first ingredient on the list, meaning it is a potent stuff. Water, normally first ingredient in all cleansers, is in the3rd place after glycerin which is a good humectant.
Cleanser comes in a plastic tube with snap-open lid and has a nice sturdy box. The overall design is very presentable and this cleanser would make a great gift for both men and women. The tube is dark green an has lovely pattern printed on the front. Ingredient list is written on the box and not on the cleanser tube. It contains 120 ml of the product which is a good amount considering that little goes a long way.
You need about a pea size of the product to cleanse your face. I find that the texture of it is very thick. I prefer to squeeze a bit of the product into wet palms and lather it up between my hands instead of immediately applying it on my face. The lathering ability is moderate and cleanser remains very gentle on my skin. Scent of this is fabulous! Green, aromatic and luxurious. It is a little bit sweet and overall very herbal in it's nature. One tube last's me for 3-4 months on average.
It's not a surprise to anyone that I use it as a 2nd step after deep-cleanse with cleansing oil. THANK YOU FARMER Back to Iceland Cleansing Foam works great as a 2nd step cleanser in PM routine and as a solo cleanser in AM routine. It doesn't strip nor dry my skin which is amazing. After the wash, my face is pleasantly smooth and ready for the rest of my routine. I do not use it as a solo make-up or SPF remover. Sometimes I switch it around with Rovectin and Andalou Vitamin C cleansing products. I do so solely in the AM routine. For the evening pampering, TYF Back to Iceland is my only trusted companion. I do recommend it to anyone who loves herbal fragrance and enjoy using other products from this brand. BTW, TYF cleansing water is also amazing and deserves being mentioned 🙂
