It’s SKIN Power 10 Formula Mask VB is a sheet mask belonging to the Power 10 skin care line. Each of the 10 masks targets a specific skin concern. The VB mask is meant to balance out the skin with the Vitamin B6 and is, in theory, a perfect product for the combi and oily skin types.
Claims from the manufacturer:
The VB mask is enriched with vitamin B6 to balance the skin’s sebum production and restore moisture levels. Leaves the skin looking clearer and healthier.
VB mask sheet delivers water-oil balance and sebum control effects on the skin. For oily, acne prone skin.
Power 10 Formula Mask Sheet is clinging tightly and soft texture with highly enriched essence.
Directions from the manufacturer:
Apply mask over the cleansed face. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes, then remove gently. Do not rinse. Pat the remaining serum into the skin until fully absorbed.
It’s SKIN Power 10 Formula Mask VB has a vitamin B6 rich formula that is meant to be used on the oily and combination skin types as it is a balancing mask. To begin with, the packaging is very sturdy and cute. Also not as big as other masks so it is easy to take with you on a vacation. The sheet itself is made of a very soft cotton fabric and feels nice and soft against the skin.
The actual essence is transparent and feels like gel. Nearly all of it is on the sheet and there are only few drops left in the bag. I’ve turned my sniffing skills to the max but couldn’t identify much scent. Even though the fragrance is listed as the last ingredient, none is found by me. The essence absorbs fast and the wearing time is 20 minutes. Hence I would not advise attempting keeping it for longer that that.
After removing the sheet, my face is left moisturized and fresh looking. My face is very nice and smooth to the touch and there was no residue left on the skin after all of the essence has absorbed. Honestly, this particular mask doesn’t impress me at all. It does deliver decent results and meets it’s claims but for some reason I don’t feel like I need it in my life as much as for example my Blithe masks. Maybe it is because when it comes to the sebum and pore control, the charcoal masks seem to be more efficient and pore minimizing on my skin than this particular sheet mask from It’s SKIN.
+ Contains anti-aging ingredients
+ Rich in hydrating plant extracts
+ Suitable for oily and combination skin
+ Great quality cotton sheet
+ Good adherence and fit of the mask
+ Delivers hydration yet manages to mattify the face
+/- Even though the fragrance is added to the ingredient list, it feels like it is unscented. I can not identify any fragrance of it.
– Contains silicone and fragrance
– Price is quite high for what you get
The Pyunkang Yul 3 Step Mask is a new and very promising, yet inexpensive, 3-step sheet mask that delivers great hydration to my oily and blemish prone skin. I’ve got the 5-mask box from iHerb and they just arrived at my doorstep today.
Claims from the manufacturer:
The type Peeling Gel gently exfoliates skin removing dead cells and prepping skin for the sheet mask.
The Essence Toner Mask. This sheet mask is made with the same fabric used in Pyunkang Yul’s ⅓ Cotton Pad, which is designed to deliver products to skin more effectively than the traditional versions by soaking up the liquid product and then releasing it back when pressed onto skin.
The Essence Toner, made up of 91.3% milk vecht root extract, full of antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, nutrient-boosting properties.
The Balancing Gel seals in all the moisture and strengthens skin’s moisture barrier for long-lasting hydration.
Great for all skin types, especially those dealing with trouble-prone, imbalanced skin.
Directions from the manufacturer:
1. Spread Peeling Gel over wet skin and massage in a circular motion to remove dead skin cells and other impurities. Rinse well.
2. Apply Essence Toner Sheet Mask, adjusting around eyes and mouth. Enjoy 10-20 minutes of sheet masking.
3. Spread Balancing Gel, and then gently tap and press until gel is fully absorbed.
I’ve tried out some samples from the Pyunkang Yul in the past and I am definitely going to invest into a bunch of the products I’ve sampled once I’m done testing the Whamisa line. I’m using it for the first time today and having it on my face while typing this review.
First of all, the ingredient list is the cleanest from what I have ever encountered. Well, 2nd cleanest after the IUNIK Beta-glucan serum that actually has only 1 ingredient in it, but I’ll brag about that wonder in one of the next posts. All three products presented in this 3-step mask are amazing and can be purchased on their own. I love how some brands make those extra ampoules, cleansers, peels e.t.c. available to the public in case your skin only agrees with one formula out of the three. In case of this particular trio, my skin loved them all and want some more.
All three steps are unscented but I can sometimes catch a hint of some plant scent. It is barely noticeable and disappears fast. The first step, peeling gel, has a light and watery texture to it. Once it touches the skin it feels very refreshing and cooling. I kept it on for 2 minutes and started rubbing my face to ball up all the gunk. After this step washing face is mandatory!
Step 2, the sheet mask, left me speechless. It is made of softest cotton and is quite fragile. Do not pull hard on the edges as you may tear the fabric. The amount of essence (classic brand toner) is enormous. I was afraid that the liquid will drip off my face but none of it happened. There is no scent to it, it is translucent and bouncy in it’s texture. The wearing time is somewhere between 20 and 30 minutes. After removing the mask it is still damp and I can still could squeeze out plenty of product. My skin is left super nourished and packed with moisture.
The remaining liquid absorbed very fast and I proceeded to the next step, the balancing gel. Oh what a surprise it was. The texture on this thing is a complete dupe of the J.One Jelly Pack. The main difference is that it is unscented and has a less priming (make-up gripping) finish to it. Yet the application and the way it lays over the skin for after first 10 minutes is identical. Do not try to drag the gel over your face, it will ball up and lay uneven on your skin. Instead, tap-tap-tap with your palms and let it absorb entirely.
What about the end results? Well, I am in love with this mask! Totally head over heels. I am left with moisturized radiant skin with zero tackiness. There are no irritants in any of the ingredients and I’ve already set 2 of the masks aside for my upcoming vacation. From the results I’ve got today, I am certain it will rescue my skin after first days in the sun. I’ve also placed a new order even though I was promising to myself that I will go on a no-buy till Christmas. They are totally worth it and I have a feeling that my holy grail hydrating mask from Mediheal has to share it’s status with this beauty.
Would I advise it? YES! to all of you with acne prone, irritated, red, dehydrated, sensitive skin. It will cool down the redness and hydrate your skin to the brim.
+ Amazing fit and adherence of the sheet
+ 100% cotton fabric
+ Great travel assistant/SOS maks
+ Suitable for absolutely all skin types and concerns
+ Beautiful packaging
+ Meets it’s claims100%

Today is the day that I’ve decided to sum up the bunch of stuff that was swirling in my brain and to finally put it on paper. I’ve decided to shortly mention my favorite products that I have used up in last month or so and to finally introduce some new brands into my skin care. So today’s review is all about the Empties and new skin care products that are going to gradually appear on my blog.
I won’t be reviewing every sheet mask that I’ve use in the past month here, it is too much work for both me and you so the regular sheet mask reviews will appear as normal content. For al of the products mentioned in today’s post I will rate each product that I’ve used up according to the following score chart:
– Holy Grail, will probably purchase it up until I retire
– Excellent product, will consider repurchasing it (unless I stumble across a better alternative)
– Good one for overal use but there is definitely a better known alternative for it
– Not impressive or not performing well on my skin
– Waste of money (try before you buy)
MISSHA Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence Intensive Moist 150 ml
Amazing quality! One bottle of this magic juice and lasts me approximately for 3 months. In order to stretch it out for that period of time I am decanting it into a spray travel bottle so that I can use my favorite whenever and wherever. Tip: perfect base for first couple of layers if you enjoy doing the 7-skin method.
MISSHA Time Revolution Night Repair Borabit Ampoule 50 ml
Great addition to the MISSHA First Treatment Essence. It smoothes and calms my skin like no other. I only use it in my evening skin care. (I used to apply it in the mornings too but I now have a lighter alternative for my skin needs). If you never tried it, go and buy it and your skin will love you eternally.
MISSHA Super Aqua Ultra Waterful Cream
Holy-moly-grail cream for me. The texture is light and silky, resembling a thick gel. Loving everything about it starting from the fresh cactus-like scent of it and ending up with the way it seals all the moisture on my skin. Who knew that my oily skin will love this so much!!!
MISA Geum Sul Emulsion
Love the smell and the packaging of it. Ingredients are very extensive and definitely benefit the aging skin. After going through the entire bottle I do notice the reduction in pigmentation and fine lines. Unfortunately at some days it felt like too much for my skin. If you have a dry skin, definitely give this one a go.
Lange Hydra-Global Active Cream Mask
Best used as a sleeping mask and not like it is advertised. Amazing skin tightening and hydrating results and zero breakouts. Loving it and had already purchased a replacement jar!!!
Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Purifying Gel 400 ml
Quite reasonable cleanser for oily and combination skin. I enjoy it’s light texture and used it every time in my morning cleansing. For now there are plenty of better low pH alternatives out there so I won’t be repurchasing this tube any time soon. It is very economic in use, the 400 ml bottle lasted me for half a year.
MERUMAYA Melting Cleansing Balm 100 ml
This particular balmy cleanser did nothing to my skin except leaving it greasy after washing it off. It does take the make off and doesn’t irritate the eyes but the finish of it that remained on the skin is unacceptable for me. Better get a good oil cleanser or the Clean it Zero balm for the same price.
Cellio It’s True Premium Real Honey Deep Cleansing Foam
I love this cleanser and currently it is my top favorite out there but I have a bunch of other brands lined up in my stash that I want to test first and see if this goodness will remain the ultimate winner. It cleanses my skin gently, leaving it hydrated yet free of all the dirt and grime. Impressive and smells nice.
Pore and pimple care
COSRX Clear Fit Master Patch
Pimple patches are my friends. This particular edition is OK but not the best one I’ve tried. I will stick to the classic COSRX acne pimple master patch or the Lioele patches.
Lange Matifying Mask
It was ok but not as high quality in terms of delivering immediate results as other products from this brand. Overall a bit disappointed with it. Still a good product for those who doesn’t want their skin to shrink like a prune during the application.
MISSHA Fresh Mint Cooling Body Sorbet
When it comes to the light fresh fragrance of it and feel on my skin after application, this is a clear winner for me. Unfortunately the hydration abilities of it are not spectacular. It is good for the summer or humid environment but not enough for my skin during the colder months.
MISSHA Near Skin Self Control Sticky Massage 200ml
OMG!!!! My holy grail for….. wait for it…. body!!!!! Whaat? Yep, you heard me! It perorms well on my face but concidering that the jar is 200ml I was never able to use it up within the 12 months since the opening. So here comes the boom- wiht the realization that container is humongous, I’ve started using it on my body and… It completely got rid of my Keratosis Pilaris on my arms. A one skin condition that was never influenced by anything in my life. I swear by this thing and am solely using the next jar on my body as the difference of my skin on my upper arms is tremendous.
P.S> It is not sticky as advertised in the name 🙂
New skin care products:
As for the new skin care, I’ve decided to expand my interests towards organic skin care and hunted down some fun stuff from the Japanese market. Sorry, no Hada Labo product reviews coming…. Yet 😉
Splurge alert !!!
For my birthday I’ve ended up investing into an entire set of Whamisa products. I have sampled each and every product before I bought them and was quite happy after 1-2x uses. Sorry, my dear wallet, it just had to happen that I wanted them in full-size. Below you can find the list of items that I am already testing or will start testing out on coming Monday. There will be individual reviews of each product that will go live in November because that’s when I’m planning to do it.
Whamisa Organic Flowers Toner Deep Rich 300 ml Whamisa Organic Flowers Lotion Original 120 ml Whamisa Organic Flowers & Fruits Feminine Cleanser 150 ml Whamisa Organic Flowers Natural Fermented Creamy Foam Cleanser 200 ml Whamisa Organic Flowers Cleansing Oil 150 ml Whamisa Organic Fruits Peeling Finger Mitt Sebum Care 25 pads Whamisa Organic Flowers Apple Sebum Treatment 120 ml Whamisa Organic Flowers Hydrogel Mask
Since I am going into the winter mode and I just turned 30, I’ve decided to invest into the Geum Sul line by MISSHA and got 3 unique products that stood out of the bunch with their ingredients and their potential use. I also got another version of the Near Skin Self Control Peeling massage thing-of-a-bobs to see if it is going to improve my Keratosis Pilaris any further.
MISA Geum Sul Lifting Special Cream 50 ml (the actual jar is on the photo with Whamisa products) MISA Geum Sul Vitalizing Finisher 60 ml MISA Geum Sul First Essence Booster 100 ml MISSHA Near Skin Self Control peeling massage 200 ml
More masks !!!
What mask-addict blog wouldn’t include the new masks. Ha-ha, definitely not mine. Over past 4 weeks I’ve collected a whole bunch of amazing looking masks from MISSHA and Hello Skin brands and will be doing the test-drives of these in coming weeks. So definitely stay tuned.
And of course last but not least, after the Huxley skin care release I was extremely eager to try out their products and see myself what all the fuss is about. Considering that trying out everything full-size would put an enormous dent into my wallet I’ve opted for the set of miniatures that I am planning to take on my coming vacation in January. I also purchased the miniature set of their oils (which is currently flying across the ocean on one of the shipping courier planes). Soon I will be adding review about them too so don’t hesitate to check out my blog around January for the reviews on this brand.

MISSHA Geum Sul Vitalizing Eye Cream & Micro Needle Patch is an anti-aging treatment for the gentle area under the eyes. It is very unique in use as you have to apply the under eye cream on your face first and only then the special patches with little tiny needles on them. These patches are meant to increase the circulation, tighten and brighten the skin under the eyes which they do!
Claims from the manufacturer:
Missha Geum Sul Vitalizing Eye Cream (10ml)
4 x Needle Patches
Components of the needle: hyaluronic acid, peptides, Madecassoside fermented wild ginseng extract.
Direct transport of active ingredients through a fine micro-needle system in the challenged skin layers.
Cream: An outstanding Eye Cream with oriental extracts and pure gold meets Micro Needle patches of concentrated hyaluronic acid for a smooth eye area and a youthful radiant look.
Directions from the manufacturer:
Apply a fair amount of eye cream around the eyes. Remove the film from the patch and make sure to touch the patch very carefully by the edges. Attach the patch under the eye. Tap gently on the patch to fix it and optimize the absorption into the skin. After 30 minutes, remove the patch. After you have removed the patch, apply again to the eyes Cream to maximize the wrinkle smoothing effect.
You can use a patch every three days. A patch is suitable for single administration. You can use the patch in other areas of the face such as on the smile lines.
I can’t brag enough about how great this product is. First of all you get 10 ml tube of cream that is going to last you for a long time after you are finished with the patches. I’ve used only third of the tube for all of my patches and am still enjoying the amazing goodness and it’s benefits every evening before going to bed. With what is left in the tube I am still able to make it through the month with daily applications which is definitely worth it!
The entire system of the cream-patches-cream application has improved my under eye area tremendously. I’ve used the entire set up in 2 weeks and the area under my eyes is baby smooth and completely wrinkle free. And I did have plenty of crows feet to work with. The entire system is quite easy to apply, the wearing time of 30 minutes is also pretty much tolerable if you do it once or twice a week. Once I fell asleep with these on and woke up an hour later. I’m happy to report that there was no issue with that either. The patches adhere well to the skin under eyes but they do not stick there on permanently and the removal process in very gentle.
The needles on the patch are quite sharp to begin with but they do not prickle or penetrate the skin. There was no issue with hurting or any pain/discomfort whatsoever. After 10 minutes you feel that the points are starting to get softer and eventually they dissolve after releasing all of the hyaluronic acid.
As for the results. I’ve got incredible brightening effects that were visible for days after following the first application. Overall effects were cumulative and now, week after I’ve stopped using patches (because I’ve ran out of them) my skin is still bright and perky. I would definitely recommend these patches for anyone struggling with the crows feet and dark circles underneath the eye area. I’m putting these on my Christmas wishlist. Hey, Santa , wink-wink 😉
+ Sulfate, alcohol, paraben free formula
+ Contains loads of skin brightening and anti-aging ingredients
+ Great fit and adherence of the patches for the area under the eyes
+ Amazing effects of the dual treatment on my skin
+ Best skin brightening product for under the eyes I’ve ever tried
– Price is quite steep for 4 patch sets
– The amount of cream is more than what you need for using with the patches
– Packaging haz zero description in English.
Hello-hello! It is time for one more DIY mask. Today I’d like to share with you my effective DIY toning and pore tightening mask. All you need for it is a compressed one time use sheet mask and a Beauty Water by Son & Park.
The recipe is very simple. Just put a generous amount of the Beauty Water into the capsule with the mask in it and wait for 5 minutes until the mask is completely saturated in the solution. Apply as usual and leave on for 15 minutes.
I’m not a huge fan of using the Son & Park Beauty water on a daily basis because it is not good enough cleanser when it comes to removing the make-up. What I did notice is that it manages to tighten up my skin. Based on that observation I decided to try it out in a mask and was pretty happy with the result.
I would not use this mask on a daily basis, only when I use the pore strips that extract the clogged dirt from my pores. The Beauty water is still containing a lot of alcohol and parabens so be careful with this DIY if you have a sensitive skin.
PETITFEE Azulene Ultra Soothing Pads are my newest buy from and my immediate holy grail product. I’ve tested these out for 2 weeks in a row and I am happy to report that these deliver immediate results on my skin! Sooo, off to the review….
Claims from the manufacturer:
Desert Plant Complex – Trehalose, aloe leaf water and opuntia coccinellifera extract; superb moisturizer that revitalizes and maintains moisture.
Soothing Energy – Ceramide NP, sodium hyaluronate, pantherol and 6 natural extracts calm and deeply moisturize dehydrated inner skin.
Calming Blue Azulene – The dark purple-blue color azulene, centella asiatica, madecassoside and chamomile extract soothe the skin.
Perfect Fitting Pad – A perfect fitting pad with good moisture retention that does not dry easily.
The dark purple-blue of this product is not an artificial pigment but azulene’s unique color. The color is vulnerable to direct sunlight, and may fade during use, but this is not related to quality.
Directions from the manufacturer:
As a toner: After cleansing, tone skin with a piece of soothing pad to replenish moisture. As a quick mask/patch treatment: For intensive hydration, place the soothing pads onto areas where it feels dry. Leave it for 10 minutes. As hydrating booster under make-up: USe in the morning prior to applying your make-up. Leave on for 5 minutes.
I’ve kept my eye on these pads for some time now. Finally, when bunch of stuff in iHerb went on sale I managed to score them at around 15 euros which was a very good deal, considering the fact that the jar contains 70 pads! Do I like these? I love them! Why? Well, see for yourself.
First of all. The packaging is very neat and sturdy. Considering the whole thing was shipped from a different continent and my iHerb boxes come smashed 99% of the time, the entire thing survived the travel very well. The tub is transparant and inside you see neatly stacked pads which are submerged in the purple-blue tinted liquid. The hue may vary from tub to tub due to the fact that the essence is photo-sensitive. The container comes with small plastic tweezers that you should use to pick up the pads from the container. A very handy addition that I’d personally like to see in other brands (NEOGEN, please take a note). There is a little plastic shield sealing the whole thing that you should remove in order to get to the pads.
Once the jar is open you sense some light fragrance. Upon vigorous sniffing I’ve figured it is a combination of white florals and lavender. Very light and pleasant smell that is not overwhelming nor artificial. The pads are composed of thin synthetic fabric that resembles thin sheet of felt. Careful, once you pick up pads they may drip a bit at first. Each pad contains a lot of essence. If you use it just to wipe and tone your face with, there is plenty to go over your face and neck and some of the Décolletage.
I tend to use these pads as a patch treatment after I do my cycling outdoors, or after going to the gym. As I tend to get a super-red face after sports, these are a must-have for me when I need to recover my face a.s.a.p. After 10-15 minutes application my cheeks are not glowing like a hot iron anymore. It never happens naturally within the same period of time so I know it is 100% the effect of these pads. And yes, you may say, well it is cooling your face, blood vessels are shrinking, hence less redness.
I know, I thought of it as well and put it to the test. I’ve applied a regular sheet mask on my face and the results were quite poor in comparison to those pads. That’s why I am super amazed by how effective these pads are. I’ve tried using these as a quick make-up primer as well and they do an amazing job for it. If you have a sensitive and dry/dehydrated skin, these pads may become your holy grail. I know they are mine!
+ Silicone, Alcohol, Paraben, Sulfate free formulation
+ Rich in skin brightening, calming and anti-ging ingredients
+ Amazing skin cooling and calming effects if applied as patches
+ Comes with little pincet for hygienic use
+ Extremely hydrating for my oily skin
+ Beautifully glowy finish when used after toner
– Hard to get in the EU
– Photo-sensitive, need to remember to keep it in the dark container (I use the original cardboard packaging)

Internationally: Available at iherb and yesstyle
Price is around 20€ per 70 pads
Today’s post is very short but yet handy for those who travel a lot of want to mistify their favorite product in order to use it sparingly. DIY toner mist is something I love to use instead of soaking my precious toner into the cotton pads and loosing half of the product that way.
All you need is the toner of your choice and a spray bottle! Ha, not so difficult as you might have thought! Right? Well I could tell you a secret, that the best part of this 2 pc recipe is the actual bottle. I’ve tried my share of splay on products as I am one of the lazy skin care people and the faster I can apply something on, the better it is for me.
Simply add the toner into the spray bottle, make sure the lid is on tight so there will be no leaking and you are good to go. Take it to your office, holiday, purse… Really, the options are infinite. I prefer to have one of these in my work bag, gym bag and on my night stand. Normally I apply my Institytum toner every time I wash my face with water.
I wish you a happy toning experience and may the easy skin care on the go be even easier from now on!
Laneige Lip Sleeping mask is a very raved product on the web. I was avoiding testing it for as long as I could but with the latest hot summer my lips are chappier than they’ve ever been so I had to purchase it. Here is what I think of the Berry version of the sleeping mask.
Claims from the manufacturer:
Lip Sleeping Mask has a softening balm texture that closely adheres to lips for quick absorption.
Enriched with vitamin C and antioxidants, its Berry Mix Complex™ offers a nutritiously sweet and fragrant blend of raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, and blueberry extracts to indulge the senses.
Exclusive Moisture Wrap™ technology boasts hyaluronic acid and minerals to form a protective film over the lips to lock in moisture and active ingredients.
A generous layer of this soothing mask at bedtime helps reduce flakiness so you can wake up to lips that feel refreshed, supple, and soft to the touch.
An exclusive technology that features a mineral network of moisture-rich beta-glucan to form an 8-hour time-release moisturizing layer over skin. It locks in active ingredients and mineral water.
Rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants from a nutritious blend of raspberries, strawberries, cranberries, goji berries and blueberries, Berry Mix Complex soothes and softens, revealing smooth, supple lips.
Directions from the manufacturer:
Apply a liberal amount to your lips with the spatula at night. Gently wipe your lips clean with a tissue the next morning to remove dead skin cells.
The Lip Sleeping Mask from Laneige is available in 4 different scents: Vanilla, Berry, Grapefruit and Apple-Lime. These lip products claim to gently melt away the dead skin layer and to repair dry lips overnight. The little plastic jar contains 20 grams of product. There are also mini travel versions available in the web that have 3 grams respectively.
The packaging of this is very pretty. The container is made of matte plastic and the lid matches the color of the outside packaging. The spatula applicator of the berry lip mask is also the same color as the paper box the mask comes in. Inside the jar there is an opaque pink cream that looks like wax at the first glance but has a very soft texture. It resembles those vaseline-based lip glosses that melt over your lips and are not tacky to the touch.
I used this mask for 2 weeks daily and to be honest I don’t see much improvement in condition of my lips. And yes I drink around 4 liters of water per day so I am not dehydrated if you wee wondering that it may be the cause. What I did notice is that my lips were smoother to the touch. Unfortunately chapping part was not influenced at all. I tried to use the lip peeling scrub and the sleeping lip mask together before going to sleep. No success there either.
I am somewhat disappointed in this product. I guess reading all the reviews online made me think it is a miracle product which it is absolutely not. Not for me at least. From my previous buys I can say with 100% certainty that the classic lanolin-based lip balm and madecanol balm work much better than Laneige when it comes to the lip care. I will still use this product but more as a daily lip gloss. Wil lI repurchase it?? No.
+ Paraben and sulfate free formulaiton
+ Rich in antioxidants and hyaluronic acid
+ Nice amount of product in the jar
+ Beautiful packaging + bonus spatula for hygienic application
+ Softens lips without making them tacky
– Contains alcohol and silicones
– Does very little to the lips in terms of hydration and moisture retention
– Expensive for a lip balm quality product
Now that there is summer and I have more free time on my hands I went out an about to the shops to buy some new Skin Care things. I wandered into Kruidvat and was pleasantly surprised that they started selling sheet masks and wash-off capsules. Everything I’ve bought is from the brand JiiNJU and each and every product is made in Korea. I’ve tried not to look on the ingredient lists to see what surprises I come across later. Price for each is 2,99€
There were 10 JiiNJU products available in the stand so I grabbed them all for the test:
On top of this purchase my two online orders from MISSHA have arrived as well. Everything in one day, lucky me 🙂 First order is from the Dutch MISSHA shop and the second one from the German one. There is no surprise to any of you that this brand is one of my favorites from the entire K-beauty world. All because nearly every single product from MISSHA has amazing ingredients and awesome quality. It fels like it is made for my skin. By now I only experience breakouts when I am trying some other brand products. So two more boxes of MISSHA, yay!
For more info just click to the links of the products below the pictures. It will lead you to the spot I got these from.
I know it is a lot of stuff. Some of these are my personal favorites, other ones are newest products released by the brand. Let me know if you want to see any specific review on any of the above mentioned products first. I do apologize for the dark pictures, unfortunately it was bad weather and overall very gloomy and dark at the time 🙁
Today’s post is a quick sum-up of my most used sunscreen this summer. And yes, one of them is a baby product which I found works amazing on my baby and me both so I just use the same product on myself when we go out for a stroll.
I feel that all three products are well worth mentioning. It is possible for me to start comparing hundreds of sun care products and come with a top 10 but to mee it seems like it is a big overkill on the topic. I found three products that work for me and I want to share them with you because I am convinced you would like an honest review on things as they are.
1. Missha All Around Safe Block Sebum Zero Sun SPF50
This sunscreen is designed for your face and does an amazing job at protecting oily skin from harmful UV rays and scorching sun. By the time I tried it I lost all the hope in finding a good quality sunscreen that would not be responsible for my make-up gliding off my face like a melted ice-cream.
It was a blind buy that I’ve repurchased twice this year already and I’m almost out of this tube. I have oily skin and the Sebum Zero formulation does excellent things for my skin. It does leave a light white’ish cast on my skin which is not a problem since my make-up applies like a magnet over it. Downsides: not waterproof. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!
2. Missha All-around Safe Block Kids Sun Mousse
Another blind buy that landed to my list of favorites! I use it whenever I go for a walk with my daughter and seeing the latest weather it is pretty much daily. I initially bought it for my babygirl and once I saw how easily it goes on I started using it on myself. Once you push on the dispenser you see a foamy solution that is easily absorbed by the skin and leaves no sticky nor white residue.
What made me fall in love with this particular product is that I do not get any yellow stains from this sunscreen om my white clothes. Plus it dries matte! It may seem expensive but it lasts you forever and the scent on this one is very light and fresh. Out of 3 products this is so far my favorite. I used it on my face too and worked pretty well on me. Downsides: not waterproof.
3. Biotherm Wet or Dry Skin – Melting Sun Fluid Face & Body SPF 30
This sunscreen is my holy grail for going onto vacations that involve aquatic activities. Waterpark, beach, pool, you name it. It can be applied over wet and dry skin and provides an amazing protection. Ii is very easy to spread out over your skin and is not easily washed off even by the salty and chlorinated water. Not sure if it comes in other SPF other than 30.
I’ve used in my trip to Cape Verde (not too far from the equatorial line) and it was plenty for my skin not to be baked alive. On the opposite I was left with a nice bronzy glow 🙂 Downside: leaves a oily-type finish on your skin so careful with wearing clothes over it.
