My experience:
iUnik Centella Calming Gel Cream has quickly become my favorite item for those cold and nasty cold weather months. I appreciate how gentle it is on my irritated skin. So, as usual, let’s talk packaging. Centella Calming Gel Cream comes in a tub with nice lime-green color cap. The cap has a very fine squeeze opening that dispenses the product without spilling it. Closure is pretty tight so I can just pop it in my purse and not worry that all of the contents will be spread around the bag.
Cream itself has a translucent look to it yet it is not entirely transparent. It is quite watery and light and it absorbs instantly into my skin. Since it contains Centella Asiatica, it is promoted to be a healing/calming product and it is! I’ve been dealing with dry irritated skin on my cheeks. I apply the cream as a last step in my morning care and it lasts me quite a log time. If I feel that the skin on my cheeks starts pulling again I simply reapply the cream and I am good to go.
The scent of this cream is very light and I’d like to say citrusy. It is undetectable on the skin after you spread it out. I love how mild the formulation is once the cream is applied. It feels like it turns into water right before it starts to absorb. It makes a perfect skin companion for every skin type who is struggling from dry or irritated patches or overall “angry face”. The value for what you pay is also very good. I’ve spent 15 euros on it and it lasted me for a month with about half of the tube left. In comparison, MISSHA Madecassoside cream was done in a month’s time.
I will gladly repurchase this beauty one I run out. Now that we are hitting the temperatures below zero in the mornings I have to apply some more heavy-duty (mostly ceramide based) creams. The iUnik Centella Calming Gel Cream is though perfect for daily use when I don’t have to rush out to work early in the morning. I appreciate what iUnik did with this product keeping the ingredient list very clean. To whoever has created this gem, big thank you!
