Directions from the manufacturer:

After washing the face, prepare the skin with toner. Remove films from the both side of sheets after opening the pouch. Placing the embo side onto the skin, spread evenly the upper part from the eyes and the lower part from the lips. Leave it for 20~40 minutes and remove masks. Pat leftover essence lightly to be fully absorbed

My experience:

MISSHA Embo Gel Waterful Bomb mask is my 2nd favorite from the entire Embo range by MISSHA. By now I have used all of them several times so I have decided to review this beauty today as it is worth mentioning. It has a great fit, looks stunning in the packaging and delivers great hydration without being overweight on my skin.

The mask itself is translucent and has one side that is smooth and the other side is ribbed or as they say – embossed. Each mask from this series is made of the same material. I took the mask out of it’s pack and removed the safety film preventing the folded sides of the mask from sticking to one another. I apply both halves of the mask with the embossed side onto my face and let it do it’s magic.

This mask has a fresh aquatic scent to it. MISSHA is well known for adding fragrance in their products. I am quite neutral to the added perfume elements in the skin care and I can say with a lot of confidence based on my broad experience with their products, everything they add is smelling lovely and is never offensive or harsh smelling.

The average wearing time is approximately 30 minutes no matter the time of the year. It performs well in cold/hot weather and what is important to me, the results are consistent no matter what are the local humidity levels. By the end of the wearing time my skin is cooled and soothed down and looks very even in color. I have rosy flushed cheeks most of the times so such masks have been my savior when my skin is being particularly angry.

A quick sum up: There is no sticky residue left on my skin, adherence is superb, performance is very consistent. MISSHA Embo Gel Waterful Bomb mask delivers everything it is promising. The biggest result for me is redness reduction and proper hydration without the feeling of having too much moisture in my skin. Perfect partner in crime if your skin got a sunburn or you have rosacea. Recommended for all skin types.
