Directions from the manufacturer:
After cleansing and applying toner, unfold the mask sheet and evenly put it on your face. Remove the mask sheet after 10-20 minutes. Gently pat remaining cream on your face allowing the excess essence to penetrate the skin.

My experience:
Real Barrier Aqua Soothing Gel Cream Mask was a very pleasant surprise. I was searching for a nice soothing daily cream for my husband and I cane across the Gel cream set which included the 30 ml sample toner and sheet mask that I didn't try yet. So it was a win-win situation and the price was very doable. On top of everything I got a make-up bag that reflects sun rays and keeps your skin care safe even when you are on the beach. What else could you wish for 😉
My husband loved the cream and already asked me to hunt down another jar for him but that's another story. Today's highlight is the wonderful mask. As with other RB masks, the packaging shows you on which of their skin products the mask is based on. Considering that the cream is light and has a gel texture, same was translated into the essence of this mask. Don't be mistaken though, the ingredients are not identical to the cream. This is much lighter formula yet similarly effective and potent.
Sheet of the mask is made of gauze/marl type material and is soft to the touch. It has some stiffness to it but since essence is highly adherent to the skin the adherence is beyond my expectations. Fit is very good too. There are 2 cut lines present around the chin area for easier application. Essence is semi-translucent and has that gel cream texture. It is dense and thick like actual cream. There is zero dripping present. In terms of scent, all RB products have the same fragrance. It is refreshing and has that typical scent that comes from ceramide.
Wearing time was full 30 minutes which I loved. My skin felt instant hydration upon the application and was soaking up the essence like a beast. I felt my skin getting pleasantly tighter/firmer all thanks to the added moisture. My face looked soothed, calm and moisturized beyond my expectations. There was still some essence left in the pack so I used it as a second layer and it felt like my skin didn't need any other skin care anymore. Considering it was used in my AM routine I still did apply my moisturizing SPF though but for the rest- nada! On that day my skin was comfortable for the entire day. I am truly amazed. Real Barrier have outdone themseves wit this georgeous sheet mask. I am hunting the 10-pack down and if it arrives on time before my vacation (fingers crossed), this will be the only sheetmask I will take with me on my trip.
