My experience:
iUNIK Beta-Glucan Power Moisture Serum is my absolute must-have when it comes to the ingredients. In case of this ampoule, the beta-glucan is presented in it’s purest form. There are no additives nor preservatives in the mix making the shelf life of it relatively short. You should use it up within 6 months after opening. To me it is not a big deal as I go through one of these in about 3 months time in the winter months and it takes me about 5 months to completely finish the bottle when the weather is warm.
The texture if the ampoule is very viscous. It is nearly odorless. The only thing I can smell is some sweet, almost sugar cane scent which is 100% as there are no additives. You can experience some troubles extracting it at first as it doesn’t want to get into the pipette sometimes. I have a little trick for that. At first twist off the cap and pump the pipette quickly 2-3 times and then wait for couple of seconds till it suctions in the liquid. Because of the high viscosity the product is getting filled somewhat slowly. A little patience and you get enough product for the entire face the neck application.
The ampoule is very rich! It is very easy to over-apply it so proceed with caution if you like to slap thing on your face in large quantities. If you use too much, the excess product will not entirely absorb into your skin end will end up sitting on top of your skin. Beware, if you used too much, everything will eventually dry to a tacky finish. Seriously, the less is more! You can always start off with a light application of 2-3 drops and build it up when ad where needed.
I use it in the winter by applying 2 light layers and it makes a huge difference on my skin the next morning. Since beta-glucan is a moisturizing component, one would not expect skin brightening, tightening, whitening and other *****ing results from this ampoule. All true. But the moisturized and plumped skin are expected! Woohoo! I am in love with this product and will keep repurchasing it because of how well it hydrates my skin. I would advise it for all skin types. Why? Nothing can beat the ingredient lists, intensive hydrating results and an affordable price point of this one!
