My experience:
E Nature’s Birch Juice Hydro Sleeping Pack is doing very little to my skin. I took it to the test run to the sunny Cape Verde and was quite disappointed with this product.
The manufacturer claims that this specific sleeping mask is intensely hydrating sleeping product due to the birch juice and other hydrating ingredients. Don’t want to upset anyone, but my daily clear cream (the completely transparant one) by MISSHA which is also birch juice based was doing a better job in terms of moisturizing an hydrating my skin. If you have a dry or very dry skin it would probably do nothing to your skin at all.
I do like that it contains 18 ml of product in it. Quite a good amount for the price. On the other hand it is still too much for a product that does so little. When it comes to the packaging, it is made very bulky making it look bigger than what the actual content is. I presume it is a traditional Korean style because few other “travel/mini” products from the brands like Laneige and MISSHA use similar if not the same jars. For me as a traveller, the size does matter. The smaller the container, the better it is for stashing it in my travel cosmetic bag.
You may wonder about how this cream actually looks and applies. The cream has a white gel consistency and has one of the thiner formulations that I’ve encountered so far. It is not entirely runny, but if I place a blob (pea size amount) of it on my skin it quickly slides down my face or drips off it. Sensitive skin people, be warned, this cream has a strong scent! It reminds me of a mixture of citronella and herbs. It feels like one of those masking type fragrances that are used to neutralize unwanted odors. The smell stays on your skin for a very long time, I could still sense it in the morning.
Upon wakening the scent was pretty much the only thing remaining on my face. Every morning when I used it I was left with mediocre hydration. It seemed that the cream just had enough moisturizing power in it that kept my skin from entirely drying out overnight in an air conditioned room. As for the other claims such as soothing, calming e.t.c. No results there at all. Zero. Nada. Null. Overall conclusion for this cream? Pass!!!
